Project Site Engineer (Diploma Holders - Fresh Graduates Welcome)

Working Hours: 8:00am - 6:00pm (9 hours/day, 44 hours/week)

Role Overview

We are seeking motivated Project Site Engineers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh Diploma graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering fields who are eager to start their careers in construction and advanced manufacturing projects. You will be stationed on-site to support daily supervision, coordination, and quality assurance of ongoing works.

Key Responsibilities

. Provide full-time site supervision of construction and installation works.

. Monitor contractor manpower, progress, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

. Attend daily toolbox meetings and ensure safety instructions are followed.

. Lead contractor progress meetings to track completion, highlight issues, and resolve bottlenecks.

. Manage project scheduling and zone-wise execution with minimal disruption to live facilities.

. Review and verify construction drawings, method statements, and shop drawings.

. Supervise installation of mechanical, electrical, cleanroom, chemical process, and utility systems.

. Ensure all works comply with Singapore standards and codes (e.g., SS638, SCDF Fire Code, MOM WSH regulations).

. Support inspections, testing & commissioning, and project handover activities.

. Act as first point of contact on site for contractors, vendors, and client representatives.

. Proactively identify risks, propose solutions, and escalate issues when necessary.

. Ensure strict adherence to company safety, quality, and reporting protocols.

Requirements

. Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

. Fresh graduates are welcome prior internship or site experience is an advantage.

. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

. Able to take initiative and solve problems independently.

. Willing to work in a site-based, fast-paced environment.

. Knowledge of construction safety requirements (RA, MOS, SWP) is a plus.
