Project Site Engineer (Construction)

Work Location: AMK
Working hours: Mon - Fri 8 am - 6 pm, Sat 8 am - 1 pm

Job Summary

The Project Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities to ensure quality, schedule, and safety requirements are met. The role involves planning construction work in the correct sequence, monitoring workmanship against drawings and standards, and working with internal teams, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

. Plan, coordinate and monitor daily construction work to ensure effective sequencing and smooth execution.

. Supervise on-site works, including precast and steel structural steel installation, ensuring compliance with design drawings, quality standards, and project specifications.

. Control the quality of construction work through regular site inspections and checks.

. Communicate and collaborate with Resident Engineer (RE) / Resident Technical Officer (RTO),subcontractors, and internal technical teams to address and resolve construction issues effectively.

. Manage subcontractors on site for quality, wastage control, and schedule adherence.

. Prepare and review site records, quality documentation, method statements, and reports as required.

. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on site, including consultants and suppliers, for material deliveries and technical clarifications.

. Manage system access rights and support new system implementations related to site operations (if applicable).

. Support audit and review processes by providing construction data and documentation when required.

Qualifications & Experience

. Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in building projects (commercial) with exposure to structural works.

. Experience with precast and steel structural steel construction is preferred.

. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, quality control practices, and ability to read/interpret drawings and specifications.

. Ability to manage subcontractors for the quality, wastage and maintain schedule.
