Job Title : Scheduler - Contract role of 10 month
(first 6 month part time and 4 month full time contract role)
Job Purpose
To support the Project Manager in the execution of the Project involving ownership of the remaining project schedule.
Role and Responsibilities
Project Manager Support
- Update weekly the overall project schedule and progress report.
- Including collating status from the execution team
- Updating the schedule in P6 to reforecast remaining activities
- Updating S Curve for CQ execution
- Manage the specific schedule for the shutdown planned for Dec 2026
- Work with all stakeholders to include all activities needed to be performed in the shutdown window
- Work with the different functions to assess the links between all activities (predecessors, successors)
- Base line the schedule when deemed appropriate
- Track all changes to the schedule with impact assessments to critical paths etc. to ensure no issues during execution
- Report weekly to the project manager on the status, risks and forecast of critical activities
Reporting:
Report issues to the Project Manager and provide regular updates to the PM as well as other parties within Client
Key Performance Indicators
- Strong knowledge of project schedule building and management
- Reporting issues to the Project Manager before time to ensure mitigations to be put in place
- Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of the tasks to be completed
Education (minimum/desirable) : Suitable qualification.
Languages : Fluent in English.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a schedule in a large project environment
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Sector preferable but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Able to manage multiple party coordination
