Role Summary
This is a newly created role for a commercially driven, technically credible Project Sales Manager to grow our institutional and commercial security portfolio, including critical healthcare environments. You will lead opportunities from early engagement through shaping buildable solutions and ensuring a clean handover to our delivery team.
Sales Leadership
- Drive business development: build a healthypipeline and relationships with consultants, main contractors
- M&E contractors, and end-users (FM / Security / IT).
- Own tenders end-to-end: review specifications, coordinate submissions, and lead clarifications.
- Lead technical solutioning throughout: propose practical architectures, equipment selections.
- Apply commercial discipline: quotations and costing, clear scope boundaries.
- Ensure smooth handover to delivery.
Commercial & Financial Ownership
- Prepare detailed quotations, tenders, material and costing.
- Manage variation orders, submissions and secure approvals.
- Raise invoices independently and liaise with customer accounts.
- Track project budget, gross profit and margins.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the single point of contact for client representatives including FM teams and consultants.
- Present technical solutions and progress updates clearly.
- Build trusted long-term relationships that protect revenue.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with BCA, ME04, WSH and hospital safety protocols.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and documentation.
- Lead handover to maintenance teams with preventive maintenance plans.
Technical Understanding and Solution Design(Pre-Sales Focus)
- Possess strong working knowledge of security and ELV systems including: CCTV (IP-based and hybrid), Card Access Control,Intercom, PA, Fireman IntercomIVS, alarm and event-driven alert systems (panic alarm, SMS alerts, event logs) IP-based and electronic interface devices
- Lead end-to-end solution design for tenders and proposals, including:
System architecture and high-level design
Review and validation of drawings, schematics, BOQs, integration plans and schedules - Perform technical due diligence and reverse-engineering of existing installations for upgrading, replacement or expansion proposals
- Provide engineering-level recommendations during pre-sales:
- Root-cause analysis for system issues
- Technical options, trade-offs, lifecycle considerations and cost implications - Work closely with engineers and vendors to
- Verify technical feasibility
- Finalise compliant, cost-effective solutions - Ensure proposed solutions comply with relevant standards and codes, including:SS 546 and applicable local authority requirements (where relevant)
- Translate technical solutions into clear commercial proposals, quotations and value propositions for clients
Required Experience
- Local candidates with strong sales experience in CCTV / communications background will be highly considered.
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics and/or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar engineering capacity.
- Proven ability to design solutions, not just execute work plans. Experience managing critical facilities, ideally hospitals.
- Strong communication and customer-facing ability.
- Preferred Experience - Experience in healthcare environment
