Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and feasibility studies.
Administer construction contracts, including PSSCOC forms, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
Handle progress claims, payment certifications, and final accounts.
Assess and value variations, claims for Extension of Time (EOT), and loss & expense.
Manage subcontractor procurement, including tender evaluation, award recommendations, and contract documentation.
Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports to management.
Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Utilize BIM for costing purposes (e.g., Cost X, Cubicost) and support Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) and Common Data Environment (CDE) implementation.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting.

Requirements

Education: Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience: At least 5 years of practical experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor on construction projects.
Professional Accreditation: Preferably APQS (Tier 3) accredited. Candidates with SISV membership are encouraged to apply.
Contract Knowledge: Experience with at least 1 project using PSSCOC (Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract).
BIM Familiarity: Familiar with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its application for costing purposes (e.g., Cost X or similar software).
Digital Delivery: Experience on ongoing or completed projects where Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) and Common Data Environment (CDE) were implemented.
