Role Description:

The Project / Programme Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects and programs from inception to completion. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure that projects meet objectives, quality standards, and deadlines. The Project / Programme Manager will also track performance, identify risks, and communicate with stakeholders to keep projects on course.

Key responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, setting project goals, managing project teams, and allocating resources. You will monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure the project is within scope, time, and budget. Additionally, you will create and maintain project documentation, prepare status reports, and ensure that all team members are aligned with the project's objectives. The Project / Programme Manager will also assess potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with organizational processes and standards.

This position offers an opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, drive the success of key strategic initiatives, and ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Programme Manager, with a demonstrated ability to successfully deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and resources.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and managing risks.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • A degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Experience with financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
