RRIS is the leading research institute in rehabilitation, and it is the first of its kind in Singapore to focus on rehabilitation. The successful candidate will support the administration, coordination, and delivery of qualitative and mixed-method research projects, with a particular focus on community-based and geospatial qualitative studies. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with research teams and external collaborators.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and coordination support for research data collection, including management of study documentation, training records, and investigator site files.
Support recruitment administration, participant reimbursement processes, and coordination across collaborating institutions and research teams.
Assist with procurement processes, budget tracking, transcription workflows, and other project management tasks under the guidance of the team lead.
Provide support for qualitative research activities, including selected interviews, qualitative data management, and preparation of reports or summaries, as required.
Bachelor's degree in population health, therapy, psychology, social sciences, social work, or a related discipline, with prior experience in healthcare research settings preferred.
Experience supporting qualitative or mixed-methods research projects, with familiarity in research workflows, documentation, and ethics processes an advantage.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and professionally with research participants, community partners, and institutional stakeholders.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary research teams.
Other research-related and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree (Bachelors) in population health, therapy, psychology, social sciences, social work or related courses.
Experience in healthcare sector would be preferred.
Good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to engage respectfully with research participants, community partners, and institutional stakeholders.
Experience working on qualitative or mixed-methods research projects is preferred.
Prior experience supporting research projects in an academic, healthcare, or public-sector setting would be an advantage.
Able to work independently, as well as work well in team settings.
Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
