As the staff authority for administrative, financial and procurement matters within SPF, A&F optimizes limited resources to meet operational needs. We are dedicated to providing and continuously improving value-based services that exceed stakeholders expectations whilst supporting SPF's mission to prevent, deter and detect crime for Singapore's safety and security.
You will be placed under the management Executive Scheme
What You Will Be Working On
You will be involved in driving comprehensive governance reviews to support SPF's strategic objectives, focusing on organizational effectiveness through:
- Reviewing existing Administrative and Finance organizational structures with proposals to streamline and/or centralise common activities
- Engaging stakeholders to detail existing processes, understanding operational challenges including any gaps in existing processes
- Developing recommendations for a to-be state by employing techniques such as work study and ensuring compliance to governance requirements are maintained or improved.
- Documenting new processes and communicating them through directives or standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Developing relevant training materials for change management and facilitating knowledge transfer for operational continuity.
Requirements
What we are looking for
- Field of studies in business administration, management, finance or related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience with proven track record in project delivery
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and data analytics software (e.g., Tableau)
- Strong communication skills
- Project and stakeholder management experience
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
