Project Manager

• Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned 4G/5G rollout projects, from planning and deployment to On-Air and customer acceptance.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, resource plans and delivery targets.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion in accordance with contractual requirements and project KPIs.
• Lead Proof of Concept (POC) projects involving various ZTE product portfolios, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, technical scope and agreed success criteria.
• Coordinate relevant product, presales, engineering, delivery and subcontractor teams to plan and execute multi-technology POC activities.
• Manage POC schedules, resources, equipment readiness, site arrangements, testing, issue resolution and final customer evaluation.
• Consolidate POC results, track technical gaps and risks, and drive closure of action items to support customer acceptance and potential project rollout.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams covering RAN, Transmission, IP RAN, Microwave, Integration, Logistics and Subcontractors.
• Manage project resources, subcontractor performance and overall deployment productivity.
• Ensure effective coordination between internal teams, customers, vendors and external partners.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, constraints and critical issues.
• Drive recovery plans and corrective actions for delayed sites, material shortages and other project delivery challenges.
• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Lead regular project progress meetings, performance reviews and management escalations.
• Ensure customer requirements, project deliverables and acceptance targets are achieved.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, resource utilization and deployment productivity.
• Track project KPIs and overall delivery performance against established targets.
• Prepare regular project progress reports and provide management with timely updates on project status, key risks and improvement actions.
• Drive digitalisation, automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance project management efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve project execution, resource productivity and delivery quality.
• Manage project escalations and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience in managing 4G/5G network rollout projects or telecommunications infrastructure deployment.
• Good technical understanding of RAN, Transmission, Microwave and IP RAN technologies.
• Experience in managing customers, subcontractors and cross-functional project teams.
• Strong project planning, execution, coordination and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and deliver results within tight project timelines.
• Good communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in project reporting, tracking and Microsoft Office applications.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification will be an added advantage.
• Experience managing POC projects, including planning, execution, technical coordination, testing and customer evaluation.
