Job Summary
Lead and manage construction projects to ensure timely delivery within budget while coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive smooth execution and compliance with contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans to achieve contract timelines and budget targets.
- Coordinate and actively participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and relevant parties to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Manage weekly site meetings with site teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers to monitor progress and ensure completion of contracted tasks.
- Oversee site team documentation processes by tracking and submitting Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Approval (RFA), and Shop Drawings promptly with the project team.
- Monitor and follow up on Project Extension of Time claims related to project delays to protect contractual interests.
- Ensure comprehensive compilation and maintenance of project documentation, including daily and weekly site reports, application forms, and updated project schedules, maintaining an organized master file onsite.
- Respond to and track all project-related emails, ensuring timely communication and keeping superiors informed.
- Provide guidance and advice to Quantity Surveyors during negotiations with sub-contractors and suppliers to secure quotations and pricing within project budgets.
- Lead and manage project engineers, site coordinators, site supervisors, and workers to meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the company, such as attending tender interviews and company audit meetings.
- Handle assigned projects with accountability for their successful delivery.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in Private Industry & Residence Construction Projects, specifically Landed Property and Factory projects.
