JOB DESCRIPTION PROJECT MANAGER

Role description

This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Singapore.

(Applicable only for Singapore PR or citizen)

You will be responsible for leading the entire project lifecycle from initial planning and

tendering to execution, commissioning, and final handover ensuring timely, safe, and

cost-efficient delivery of engineering and construction-related projects.

This role requires strong technical understanding, excellent stakeholder coordination, solid

regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced

environment.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Engineer/Executive to oversee

project engineering, procurement, documentation, site coordination, and compliance with

Singapore authority requirements. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth project

execution, high-quality deliverables, and strong client satisfaction.

1. Project Planning & Coordination

Lead project execution from initiation to completion, including planning, scheduling,

procurement strategy, and implementation.

Prepare and review method statements, shop drawings, work schedules, and

construction documentation.

Maintain project calendars, track deadlines, and organize coordination meetings.

Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, resources, timelines, and budget

allocation.

Monitor KPIs to track project progress, quality, and safety.

2. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare visually appealing, data-driven presentation slides and consolidated project

reports.

Attend internal and external meetings, taking accurate Minutes of Meeting (MoM).

Maintain organized records of correspondence, approvals, drawings, permits,

contracts, and technical documents.

Manage progress claims, variation documentation, issue logs, RFIs, and NCRs.

Submit daily and weekly progress reports to management.3. Stakeholder & Client Management

Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal

teams.

Provide weekly/monthly progress updates covering milestones, risks, and budget

status.

Manage client expectations and build rapport for smooth project completion and

future engagements.

4. Technical & Site Management

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

Identify technical issues early and propose effective solutions.

Oversee defect rectification, testing & commissioning, and final project close-out.

Ensure manpower, materials, tools, and equipment are available as required.

5. Tendering, Costing & Procurement

Study tender documents and drawings to prepare BQ with the engineering team.

Perform cost estimation, material take-offs, and pricing analysis.

Support tender interviews, clarifications, and final pricing recommendations to the

Director.

Lead vendor sourcing, tender evaluation, contract negotiation, and subcontractor

performance tracking.

6. Regulatory & Safety Compliance

Ensure compliance with BCA, LTA, PUB, JTC, SCDF, and other Singapore authorities.

Assist with permit submissions, TOP/CSC processes, and statutory approvals.

Promote workplace safety in line with WSH Act and internal safety protocols.

7. Handover & Post-Project Activities

Manage customer acceptance, documentation handover, as-built submissions, O&M

manuals, and warranties.

Facilitate smooth transfer to the Service & Maintenance team.

Conduct post-project analysis and lessons-learned review.

Salary range -$4000 -$5000 SGD

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical

Engineering or related field.

2-5 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management ensuring

successful deliveries of projects in Singapore.

Strong understanding in Construction methodologies, project planning and site

execution.

Proficiency in Project management software and scheduling.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and making decisions under pressure.

Strong understanding of project planning, drawings, RFIs, NCRs, and progress claims.

Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Familiarity with Singapore authority requirements is an advantage.
