Project Manager Temenos Transact / Core Banking

We are seeking a Project Manager – Temenos Transact / Core Banking to provide end-to-end coordination and monitoring of all projects, initiatives, and changes impacting the Temenos Transact platform.

Reporting within the Operations organization, the role acts as the central coordination point for the Transact perimeter, ensuring alignment between business priorities, IT streams, Transact teams, Operations, and other key stakeholders.

The PM provides consolidated visibility on the overall Transact roadmap, dependencies, risks, capacity constraints, and delivery status, with a strong focus on execution, anticipation, and issue resolution.

The Project Manager is not only responsible for tracking projects but is accountable for providing management with an end-to-end view of the Transact portfolio, anticipating delivery risks and dependencies, and driving the coordination and decisions required to secure delivery.

⇒ Main Responsibilities

Transact Project Portfolio Management

• Maintain a consolidated view of all projects and initiatives impacting Transact.
• Build and maintain the overall Transact roadmap, including key milestones, releases, and dependencies.
• Ensure that each initiative has a clearly defined scope, owner, planning, dependencies, and delivery target.
• Identify conflicts or overlaps between projects and facilitate prioritisation when required.
• Monitor the impact of new demands and changes on the existing Transact roadmap.

End-to-End Delivery Coordination

• Follow projects from initial assessment through design, build, testing, deployment, and post-production follow-up.
• Coordinate the different contributors involved in Transact deliveries.
• Ensure dependencies between Transact and other streams/assets are identified early and actively managed.
• Challenge delivery plans and ensure that commitments are realistic and properly secured.
• Escalate blockers and deviations when necessary and drive remediation plans.

Governance & Reporting

• Establish and maintain a clear governance framework for the Transact perimeter.
• Prepare consolidated reporting covering delivery status, milestones, risks and issues, dependencies, decisions required, capacity constraints, and key upcoming activities.
• Provide management with a single, reliable view of the Transact portfolio.
• Organise and facilitate regular Transact project reviews with the relevant stakeholders.

Risk & Dependency Management

• Maintain a consolidated RAID log covering Risks, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies.
• Identify critical dependencies across projects and streams.
• Anticipate potential delivery bottlenecks.
• Ensure mitigation and recovery plans are defined, owned, and followed.
• Escalate critical risks early enough to allow management decisions and corrective actions.

Release & Operational Readiness

• Coordinate Transact-related activities with the relevant release and operational processes.
• Ensure production readiness is assessed before major deployments.
• Track operational prerequisites, cutover activities, and post-go-live actions.
• Ensure that project deliveries properly transition into the operational model.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main coordination point between the relevant stakeholders, including Operations, IT streams, Business teams, Transact teams, Architecture, Testing teams, Release Management, Production/Support teams, and external partners or vendors when applicable.
• Connect the different teams and proactively resolve cross-stream topics, rather than simply reporting them.

⇒ Qualifications & Experience

MUST HAVE SKILLS

Project Management

• Proven experience managing complex IT projects or portfolios.
• Strong understanding of project governance, planning, RAID management, and dependency management.
• Ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and organisational capabilities.
• Ability to challenge plans, commitments, and priorities.

Banking / Technology

• Experience in banking IT, preferably Wealth Management or Private Banking.
• Good understanding of core banking platforms and their integration within a complex information system.
• Understanding of banking operations, releases, testing, and production processes.

Leadership

• Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable working across Business, IT, and Operations.
• Ability to influence contributors without necessarily having direct hierarchical authority.
• Strong communication and synthesis skills.
• Ability to escalate issues clearly while remaining solution-oriented.
• Comfortable interacting with senior management.

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS

• Knowledge of Temenos Transact / T24 is a strong advantage.

Key Success Criteria

Success in the role will be measured by the ability to:

• Provide one consolidated and reliable view of everything impacting Transact.
• Ensure that no major dependency or risk is discovered too late.
• Improve coordination between Transact and the other streams.
• Increase predictability of Transact deliveries.
• Ensure clear ownership and follow-up of actions and decisions.
• Identify capacity or planning conflicts sufficiently early to allow arbitration.
• Facilitate faster resolution of blockers impacting deliveries.

Miscellaneous & Reporting Line

• The position will include some travel mainly from Singapore to India and potentially to Europe based on need.
• The Project Manager will report directly to the Operations Division Head and will have a dotted reporting line to the Program Manager.
