A leading banking technology firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The organisation works with major financial institutions across the region and is looking for a delivery-focused professional with a strong background in technology or operations project management within the banking sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for technology and operations initiatives across the organisation's financial sector client base
- Define project scope, timelines, resource plans, and governance structures in line with client and internal requirements
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across technology, operations, compliance, and business functions
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating appropriately to ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including internal delivery staff, vendors, and client-side counterparts
- Produce clear and accurate project reporting, status updates, and documentation for senior stakeholders
- Drive adoption of project management best practices and contribute to continuous improvement across the delivery function
- Support change management activities to ensure smooth transitions and handovers at project close
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of project management experience gained working with a regional or international bank
- Demonstrated track record of driving and delivering projects within a technology or operations department
- Solid understanding of banking systems, infrastructure, or operational workflows
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of seniority
- Experience working within matrix or cross-functional team structures
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks
