Roles & Responsibilities:
- Delivery of the new building and conversion projects on schedule and within budget.
- Plan, manage, coordinate and oversee projects development - contract signing, plan approval, hiring site team and vessel's construction, commissioning, Yard audits and delivery supervision, Liaison with all stake holders.
- Provide leadership, direction and guidance to the team and managing risks for the successful conclusion of projects - Prepare and execute contingency plan for any unforeseeable situation.
- Oversees multiple projects and managing resources to ensure projects are progressing on time efficiently and effectively and within budget.
- Propose projects/ plan and obtain necessary budget/investment approval.
- Monitor the time schedule, quality, and cost control for the projects.
- Regularly visiting site offices and attending key events.
- Report regularly to Head Office on the progress of different projects.
- handle ad hoc assisgnments or tasks as required.
Requirements:
- 1. Bachelor or Masters in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 7 - 10 years of project management experience handling Newbuilding / EPC Conversion Project in Maritime Sector.
- Fluency and proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in IT and experience with using all relevant Microsoft office software.
