Job Description
- Manage and oversee Structured Cabling and ELV projects from planning to completion
- Plan and control project budget, costing, and resources to ensure projects are delivered within budget
- Review drawings, specifications and material submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate technical requirements for Structured Cabling (Copper/Fibre), network cabinets and cable containment systems familiarity with CCTV, Access Control, Public Address and Intercom systems will be an advantage
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors for smooth project execution
- Monitor project schedule, manpower and site progress to meet deadlines
- Supervise installation works and ensure quality, safety and technical standards are met
- Prepare and monitor project cost reports, variation orders (VO) and claims
- Manage testing, commissioning, documentation, as-built drawings and project handover.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical/ElectronicsEngineering, IT, Building Services or related field
- Experience: 5-10 years in Structured Cabling, ELV or ICTprojects experience in commercial, residential or data centre projects familiar with network cabling certification and testing
- Technical Knowledge: Structured Cabling standards (ISO/IEC), fibre and copper cabling, ELV system integration, Microsoft office applications and project management tools
- Skills: Project coordination and leadership, stakeholder communication, technical drawing interpretation, problem-solving and decision-making
- Preferred Certifications: Safety certifications (WSH/MOM) and 3rd party vendor certification.
