DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the overall management and development of department objectives.
- To be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, coordiating, monitoring and commissioning projects assigned by the Management.
- To provide the Management with long term plans for the developpment and smooth operations of the Project Management team in conjunction with other departments of the Company.
- To support and provide timely information relating to projects being workerd on by the Sales and Business Development department.
- To prepare cash flow forecast in order to monitor and ensure healthy project cash flow.
- To plan and summarize all material requirements for a projects through establishing Bill of Material and Material Procurement Summary List.
- Responsible for the daily operations management of the Project Management team.
- To do necessary recommendation of suppliers or contractors selection and ensure their quality of works are in accordance with the products/system technical specification/requirements.
- To verify and approve both measurements and claims made by sub-contractors undertaking the Company's works.
- To ensure that all progress claims on work done by the Company, or its sub-contractors are efficiently recorded and promptly submitted for payment.
- Collaborate with Automation & Commissioning Department to handle testing and commissioning of Company's project and system.
- To provide necessary documentation as needed by the Technical Support team. To ensure all records are maintained and must be suitable to enable an efficient after-sales service.
- To ensure that the safety and health practice, includes hygiene and cleanliness matters are being carried out and implemented at all times at project sites.
- To perform any task deemed necessary by the Management for the efficacy of the operation of the Company.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognizes university or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in project management working environment.
- Exclusion of tertiary education shall be taken into consideration if working experience is more than specific duration set by the Top Management.
- Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office and Autocad.
- Excellent verbal communication and written in English.
- Independent, pro-active, result oriented and possess good interpersonal, technical and leadership skills.
- Willing to travel outstation occasionally.
