Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee vessel movements, ensure timely departures and arrivals, and manage marine logistics.
- Lead the Marine Ops Team to achieve berthing excellence for services and vessels.
- Coordinate on berthing priority for incoming vessels.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to maritime laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate vessel maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure operational readiness.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage operational budgets, fuel consumption, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Risk Management: Implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and incident investigations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with port authorities, shipping agents, and other maritime stakeholders.
- Technology & Innovation: Utilize marine software for tracking, reporting, and optimizing fleet performance.
- Lead Equipment Ops Team (EQMSIN): Managing depot and EQM inventory
- Ensure sufficient EQM (Containers) to support business.
- Manage depot and equipment operations effectively.
