- The competitive environment: The business operates in a constantly evolving and competitive environment with both local and international competitors. Constant technical evolutions require active cost efficiency and performance improvement processes in order to maintain local competitivity
- The regulatory environment: the country has its own regulatory framework and context in which the business must operate. Regulation for on-site / self-consumption – export to the grid / off-site / BESS is constantly evolving which requires the adaptation of the business model on a regular basis.
- The HSE and compliance environment: the highest Company standards of HSE and compliance must be locally implemented. This can often involve implementing additional processes beyond the market standards in the region.
- Fast changing environment in a very competitive and complex market.
- Must act in accordance with local legislation, compliance, company ethics and values, as well as strong HSE standards.
- Must acquire a good knowledge of TotalEnergies Distributed Generation offerings.
- Requires an ability to deal with a range of organizations from privately owned smaller enterprise to large multi-national corporates.
- Develop an understanding of both local and regional competitors. Constantly changing technical evolutions, implement continuous performance improvement processes to constantly remain competitive in the moving business landscape.
- Strategies independent of prices have to be constantly developed to deliver while protecting value.
- Required to stay nimble and adapt to the evolving regulatory environment.
- Operate in partnership with the Group affiliates to ensure consistent approach to customers, OneTotal structures used, communications coordinated, opportunities within the group leveraged.
Activités
Project Development and Management
- To support the sales team in the project development and implementation of the Distributed Generation APAC business model, in accordance with the JV model and ensure that all activities are compliant with TRDG HSE and compliance standards.
- Estimate project costs and identify project obstacles and challenges
- Conduct Site assessments and complete accurate site assessment reports, assess technical constraints, evaluate project feasibility and potential risks, contributing to the PV System design in alignment with local regulations, TTE Technical specifications while always holding strong the TotalEnergies HSE mindset.
- Conduct meetings with clients and contractors to clarify and discuss technical matters.
- Coordinate with internal teams, local regulatory bodies, and other third-parties to ensure smooth project execution.
- Liaise with engineering resources to optimize the commercial offers in terms of PV system performance, technical solution costs, robustness and quality.
- Select and on-board contractors and suppliers including EPCs and engineering consultants, in full respect of HSE, Quality and compliance guidelines and specifications.
- Support commercial negotiations and maintain relationships with installers and suppliers.
- Coordinate with teams to effectively implement customer objectives and project plans.
- Document activities and communication, maintain entries in CRM (Salesforce) and other internal platforms. Plan, Report and achieving the set KPIs.
Project and Contractor Management
- Coordinate between sales, engineering and client to prepare the project for execution
- Prepare tender, evaluate proposals, present to team management for selection, handle contractual negotiations and completion with contractors
- Review method statement of execution from contractors and check compliance with Totalenergies rules and standards
- Prepare and follow-up local approvals and regulatory obligations
- Review all submitted documents from contractors as per Master Document List
- Site inspection, safety on site and quality assessment, budget control and schedule control
- Review on compliance of contractors on HSE and TOTALENERGIES values and rules
- Handle handover to operation team and client satisfaction
The position will be based in Singapore and the scope of activities will extend to other areas of Singapore/Malaysia as necessary.
Profil du candidat
- At least 3 years of relevant project management experience in a commercial/industrial environment with at least 2 years experience with rooftop solar projects.
- Working experience in Singapore electrical norms, renewable energy regulations, and construction codes.
- Degree in Engineering, Graduate degree and related professional qualifications considered a plus.
- Experience with maintaining minimum functional specification, commissioning checklists, and standard operating practices for rooftop solar projects.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations.
- Experience in renewable energy; in particular solar and energy industry is an advantage.
- Proven track record in building, negotiating, and executing contracts.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively
