We are seeking an experienced Industry Project Manager to lead the delivery and execution of AI and digital transformation projects for semiconductor manufacturing customers.
This role will focus on project planning, execution management, CIM system integration coordination, and stakeholder engagement within complex semiconductor factory environments.
The successful candidate will work closely with customer engineering teams, factory automation teams, CIM engineers, and internal product and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully and integrated into the customer's manufacturing systems and data infrastructure.
This role requires strong familiarity with CIM systems, semiconductor manufacturing data environments, and enterprise software deployment in fab operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end project management for AI and software implementation projects within semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including:
- software engineers
- data engineers
- AI engineers
- solution architects
- CIM integration engineers
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
CIM System Integration Coordination
- Coordinate system integration activities between project solutions and customer CIM infrastructure.
- Work with customer factory automation and IT teams to support integration with manufacturing systems including:
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Equipment Automation Program (EAP) Alarm and Case Management Equipment System Operation like Predictive Maintenance, Fault Detection.
- Ensure proper handling of manufacturing data flows, equipment data, and operational data contexts.
- Support integration testing, system validation, and deployment planning within the fab environment.
Customer Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary project interface with customer stakeholders.
- Coordinate with customer teams including:
- factory automation teams
- manufacturing engineering
- IT infrastructure teams
- data platform teams
- Facilitate regular project meetings, technical discussions, and milestone reviews.
- Maintain strong alignment between customer expectations and project delivery.
Project Governance & Reporting
- Track project progress including scope, schedule, delivery milestones, and risks.
- Provide regular project status updates to internal leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation and delivery governance standards.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify potential project risks related to integration, deployment, or technical dependencies.
- Develop mitigation plans and coordinate issue resolution with internal and customer teams.
- Escalate major issues when necessary and ensure timely resolution.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including:
- product management
- engineering teams
- data platform teams
- customer success teams
- Support coordination between software development teams and factory system teams during system deployment.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in:
- Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Industrial Engineering
- Semiconductor Manufacturing or related field
Required Experience
Project Management Experience
- 5-8+ years of experience managing enterprise software, automation, or manufacturing technology projects.
- Proven experience delivering customer-facing system implementation projects.
- Experience managing projects involving cross-functional technical teams.
CIM & Semiconductor Manufacturing Experience
- Hands-on experience working with semiconductor CIM environments.
- Familiarity with semiconductor factory automation architecture.
- Understanding of manufacturing system integration and operational workflows.
Experience with systems such as:
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Equipment Automation Program (EAP)
- Other CIM System Integration
Experience working with semiconductor manufacturers is considered an advantage.
Manufacturing Data & Integration Experience
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing data structures and operational data contexts.
- Experience supporting projects involving:
- manufacturing data integration
- equipment data collection
- factory data pipelines
- system interoperability
Project Management Methodology
- Experience applying project management methodologies including:
- Agile
- Waterfall
- Hybrid approaches
- Familiarity with project management tools such as:
- Jira
- Microsoft Project
- Confluence
- Smartsheet
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master are an advantage.
