Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery within the defined budget and scope.
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with budget, purchase terms, and conditions.
- Maintain healthy project cash flow and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Provide support and supervision for engineering activities throughout the project.
- Manage relationships with clients and consultants on all engineering and contractual matters.
- Chair the project safety committee and ensure that safety standards are met and addressed promptly.
- Oversee manpower and resource control to ensure optimal allocation and efficiency.
- Control project costs and budgets, and provide cash flow projections.
- Handle project matters contractually, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, contracts, and schedules.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related field) or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project management.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies will be considered an advantage.
- Leadership skills: Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate across functions, and guide the project to successful completion.
