Job Summary
We seek a proactive Project Manager to lead renovation projects from planning through completion, coordinating teams, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring effective communication with clients and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute renovation projects from initiation to completion, defining scope, milestones, and deliverables to meet client requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed work schedules and timelines to ensure on-time project delivery
- Coordinate and assign tasks to designers, contractors, suppliers, and site workers, monitoring team performance to ensure accountability
- Manage both offshore and local teams effectively to achieve project goals
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and securing approvals for variations and additional works
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and profit margins by reviewing quotations, invoices, and tracking variations with proper documentation
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
- Resolve on-site issues and delays promptly to maintain project progress
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including photos, reports, and updates
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., internal app, Overstaffed, Trello, Asana) to track progress, approvals, scheduling, and documentation
- Continuously improve workflow processes to enhance efficiency and project outcomes
Required competencies and certifications
- 3-7 years of project management experience in renovation, construction, or interior design with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, or related field
- Familiarity with Singapore renovation regulations
- Experience with renovation quotations and costing
- Basic understanding of construction processes and materials
