We are looking for a highly competent and proactive Project Manager who can excel in the renovation and carpentry trade. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish while ensuring top-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Manage full project lifecycle for interior design, carpentry, and renovation projects.
Plan project schedules, deliverables, manpower, and materials.
Conduct site measurements, site checks, and ensure accurate interpretation of drawings and plans.
Coordinate with designers, carpenters, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project.
Provide timely updates, manage expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Handle variations, additional works, and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality, safety, and compliance.
Resolve site issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure all works meet industry standards and company quality benchmarks.
Monitor project expenses and materials usage.
Prepare project costings, variation orders, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Lead and coordinate site teams, carpenters, and subcontractors.
Schedule and optimise manpower allocation.
Ensure timely completion of each project phase.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in renovation, carpentry, interior design, or construction project management.
Strong understanding of carpentry works, materials, fabrication processes, and site sequencing.
Familiar with drawings (2D & 3D), measurements, and interpreting technical plans.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Possess a valid Class 3 license (preferred).
Able to work on-site as required.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking workers and suppliers (advantage).
