What You Will Do
As Project Manager, you will be working as part of the contract engineering team on both technical and commercial aspects of projects on a wide range of products and systems. From receipt of order, the Project Manager becomes the point of contact for the customer, reviewing the job specification & contract, supporting design of the required solution, overseeing the project's budget, scope, timeline and execution, liaising with the customer throughout.
Project Planning
How You Will Do It:
- Develop comprehensive WBS & project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Define project deliverables and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
Execution And Monitoring
- Lead project execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges.
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
Budget Management & Finance Reporting
- Manage project budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Track expenses and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Prepare and present financial reports related to project expenditures, forecasts and variances to upper management
Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
- Conduct project reviews and post-mortem analyses to identify areas for improvement.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all project documentation is up to date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management methodologies within the organization.
Business Representation
- Represent the organisation in meetings with clients, stakeholders, effectively communicating the company's capabilities and offering
- Build and maintain strong relationship with clients and partners to foster future business opportunities
Commercial Knowledge And Negotiations
- Utilize strong commercial knowledge to identify business opportunities and assess market trends.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers to achieve favourable terms for the organization.

What We Look For
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engineering environment (3+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in management of LDs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Experience in planning, execution, and monitoring progress.
- Familiarity with facilities management software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
