Job Summary
The Project Manager oversees the planning and all project operations. He/She manages the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery. The Project Manager will be required to travel to project sites. Good communication skills are needed to liaise with the various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with relevant parties to track and manage project progress, ensuring adherence to the project schedule
- Lead the project team to execute operations, manage schedules, and meet project specifications
- Control operational costs by monitoring expenses and maintaining the project budget
- Organize and maintain site document filing and records in compliance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards
- Supervise subcontractors activities to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements and quality standards
- Monitor and enforce compliance with workplace safety and health regulations throughout the project lifecycle
- Evaluate project delivery quality to confirm alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards
- Oversee project team and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of project milestones and final delivery
- Provide leadership and direction to the project management and construction teams to drive performance and accountability
- Supervise daily site activities to maintain operational efficiency and resolve issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and resolve project challenges
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical engineering field in Singapore
- Ability to commit to alternate Saturdays or a 5.5-day work week
