Your new role
- Responsible for overseeing the delivery of technology projects, ensuring they meet business requirements, are completed on time, and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery. Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges.
- Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Implement best practices for software development and project management.
- Articulate the business and technical value of solutions and products to senior managers and technical decision makers.
- Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams and multiple timezones.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Banking Technology sector.
- Payments/Treasury domain knowledge is a MUST have
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
- Must Language: Chinese & English
- Verbal communication with Chinese speaking vendors. Ability to read & write (Simplified and Traditional Chinese) - as you will be working closely with stakeholders in China
