Summary
Responsible for creating and implementing project plans within set frameworks, negotiating changes within projects, and obtaining support for new projects outside the existing contract. Typical scope is delivery of cohesive projects.
Requirements:
Planning and Organisation
- Translates requirements into guiding principles for the project
- Challenges inputs that lead to the plan
- Allocates margins to the team, steering committee, etc
- Obtains commitment from the steering committee
- Defends the approach
- Is proactive in taking action and creates a long-term vision. Realises cost monitoring of the budget
- Takes action in case of deviations. Draws on the competences and knowledge of the organisation to determine the principles of the programme. Aligns these with the business strategy
Risks
- The scope covers the entire project and includes continuous monitoring and updates of the risk management plan
- There is an explicit trade-off between cost-preventive actions and acceptable risks
- Identifies risks outside the project for both the clients and the organisation itself
- Ensures these risks are openly discussed
Stakeholders
- Understands the needs of stakeholders, proposes solutions and offers helpful advice on how to meet stakeholders needs
- Explains and clarifies decisions made. Accepts the consequences of decisions made
- Encourages decision-making among stakeholders
- Steers the stakeholders proactively, including the needs
- Connects stakeholders and monitors balance in relationships. Provides solutions Influences stakeholders to support the project
- Is the point of contact at board level
- Steers the coherence between projects
Reporting
- Creates customised reports based on the discussions held
- Submits reports on the accomplished business goals and strategy
- Reflects on the reporting with stakeholders and arranges the required support
Management and Organisation
- Proactively deals with issues related to the status and needs of individual team members, as well as the interactions between them
Proactively deals with potential problems in the interfaces between the team and other stakeholders, as well as the effects that other stakeholders may have on the team - Works in accordance with environmental and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field
- 10+ years of project management experience
- Proven track record managing medium to large-scale projects and cross-functional teams
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and steering committees
- Strong financial management and budgeting experience
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g.,Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Strategic thinking and execution
- Strong communication and stakeholder influence

- Adaptability in fast-paced environments
