Job Description:

This role sits within Data, Reporting & Operations Management (DROM), a Global Operations Line of Business responsible for the delivery, control, and governance of the bank's regulatory and operational reporting obligations, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely reporting for Global Markets and Global Banking businesses.

The Project Manager is a member of the DROM Strategy, Change & Transformation team in APAC and is responsible for coordinating and delivering non‑financial regulatory reporting change, working closely with business and support partners to ensure change is implemented in a compliant manner. This is a non‑technical role, well suited to a fast learner who can work independently while collaborating effectively and driving outcomes in a fast‑moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver regulatory reporting change initiatives by partnering closely with DROM regulatory reporting teams, who are the primary recipients of change

  • Navigate complex, multi jurisdiction regulatory change across APAC

  • Opportunity to Drive end to end delivery and shape how regulatory change is embedded into operations

  • Create and maintain core project management artefacts including project definition documentation, project and resource plan, risk and issue log and operational readiness check list

  • Set up and facilitate project governance e.g. working groups or steering committees, including creation of associated meeting materials/decks

  • Ensure adherence to enterprise change management and control standards

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Global Markets business or Global Banking product teams, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Controls functions and Technology

  • Manage business analysts allocated to project initiatives

Required Skills:

  • 5--10+ years experience in project or change management within financial services

  • Exposure to regulatory reporting change, regulatory remediation, or control‑driven transformation initiatives

  • Understanding of Global Markets and/or Global Banking lines of business

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including evidence of executive level engagement

  • Ability to meet delivery deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities and facing incomplete information

  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies

Desired Skills:

  • Awareness of APAC or global regulatory reporting regimes (e.g. MAS, JFSA, HKTR, MiFID II)

  • Strong interest in understanding front‑to‑back processes and how regulatory reporting obligations impact them

  • Specific product knowledge either in Global Markets (Securities, OTC Derivatives) or Global Banking (Payments, Loans)

  • Previous experience managing small to mid-size teams
