Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to oversee projects within the Metal Sheet. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing metal sheet fabrication and installation projects, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely completion while maintaining strong client and team relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise metal sheet projects from initial planning to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments (design, production, and installation) to ensure project requirements are fully met.
- Review technical drawings, material specifications, and fabrication methods to ensure feasibility and compliance with project standards.
- Oversee site surveys, measurements, and installation planning for metal and signage works.
- Prepare project schedules, cost estimates, and progress reports.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Identify and resolve technical or operational issues promptly to minimize delays.
- Ensure all project activities comply with regulatory and workplace safety requirements.
- Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in the metal works, cladding, or construction industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of metal sheet fabrication, welding, and installation methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling software.
- Able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license will be an advantage.
