Project Manager (Marine Mechanical & Piping Works)

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on experience Project Manager to support our operations as a resident contractor in Tuas Boulevard shipyard (Seatrium ) specialising in mechanical and piping works.

The candidate will manage projects from quotation stage to completion within a marine environment.

Key Responsibilities:

. Prepare quotations for mechanical and piping works based on site requirements

. Conduct onboard vessel inspections when required

. Attend site meetings with clients and shipyard representatives

. Coordinate project execution with supervisors and workers

. Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion

. Prepare job completion reports upon project completion

. Handle invoicing for completed works

. Liaise with clients regarding technical scope and job progress

. Ensure proper documentation of work scope and completion status

Requirements

. Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Marine or related field

. Experience in shipyard, marine mechanical or piping works (Preferable in local shipyard)

. Able to understand mechanical and piping job scope

. Experience in preparing quotations for engineering works

. Comfortable boarding vessels for inspection when required

. Able to attend meetings with clients and shipyard personnel

. Strong coordination and reporting skills

. Familiar with invoicing and project documentation processes

. Able to work independently in a fast-paced shipyard environment
