Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage offshore marine construction projects from tender award through execution, completion, and project close-out, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise marine construction activities including subsea cable installation, offshore structures, marine civil works, heavy lifting, dredging, and vessel operations
  • Develop detailed project execution plans, work schedules, resource allocation, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to achieve project objectives
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, classification societies, port authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Manage project budgets, cost control, procurement activities, contract administration, and change order management to maximize project profitability
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and critical issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure safe and timely project delivery
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, international maritime standards, and client-specific requirements while promoting a strong safety culture
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams including marine superintendents, engineers, vessel crews, subcontractors, and site personnel to achieve operational excellence
  • Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, financial forecasts, and executive summaries for senior management and clients
  • Support business development activities by participating in technical proposals, tender reviews, client presentations, and project planning for future marine construction opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience in marine construction, offshore construction, subsea cable installation, dredging, offshore renewable energy, or marine infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing offshore vessels, marine operations, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, contract administration, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Strong knowledge of marine construction methodologies, project management principles, HSE practices, risk management, and international maritime standards; PMP certification is highly advantageous
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with willingness to travel offshore and internationally when required
