The Project Manager will lead Out-of-Box Failure (OOBF) and cost-down initiatives at the Singapore manufacturing site. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional execution, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining strong alignment with global and client stakeholders.
1. Planning & Execution
Develop and manage integrated project plans for OOBF resolution and cost-down initiatives.
Own project schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
Monitor progress and manage risks, issues, and change control effectively.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Systems, Mechanical (ME), Electrical (EE), Manufacturing, and Quality teams to implement technical and process solutions.
Identify cost-down opportunities across design, manufacturing, and supply chain.
Track and report cost savings against targets.
3. Stakeholder Management
Serve as the single point of contact for the client.
Prepare executive-level updates, dashboards, and presentation materials.
Facilitate governance meetings and project reviews.
Ensure clear, transparent, and timely communication with all stakeholders.
4. Compliance & Financial Management
Ensure compliance with client Quality Management Systems (QMS) and safety requirements.
Track budget utilization and burn rate.
Support rate card management and contracting-related processes.
Required:
7-10 years of proven project management experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred:
Exposure to Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering domains.
Experience with supplier cost-down, DFM/DFA, and value engineering initiatives.
Familiarity with regulated environments such as ISO 13485 and FDA QSR.
Background in RCA, CAPA, and structured cost-down delivery.
