Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to join our team and take full responsibility for the planning, coordination and execution of construction, interior fit-out, A&A and hotel refurbishment projects.

The successful candidate will manage projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring that works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate projects from commencement to completion.

• Prepare and monitor project schedules, work programmes and site progress.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.

• Supervise site activities and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

• Monitor project costs, materials, manpower and resources.

• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and construction details.

• Coordinate procurement, material delivery and installation schedules.

• Identify project issues, delays and potential risks and implement appropriate solutions.

• Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate project updates with relevant parties.

• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and relevant Singapore regulations.

• Manage variations, claims, progress works and project documentation.

• Track project milestones and provide regular progress reports to management and clients.

• Coordinate testing, inspection, rectification and handover works.

• Ensure proper completion of defects, documentation and final handover.

• Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors and workers to achieve project targets.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Building, Project Management, Interior Design or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in construction, A&A, interior fit-out or hotel refurbishment.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site coordination and project management.

• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.

• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

• Good understanding of project scheduling, costing and procurement.

• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and make practical decisions on site.

• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office knowledge of AutoCAD / project scheduling software will be an advantage.

• Experience in hotel refurbishment, hospitality projects or commercial fit-out will be highly advantageous.

• Singapore construction experience and knowledge of local authority requirements will be an advantage.
