Key Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of projects, including but not limited to
- Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinating with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless integration system.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning, based on project requirement
- Maintaining clear and accurate project documentation and records.
- Managing and resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Communicating effectively with clients, team members, & other stakeholders to keep project on track.
- Performing quality control checks and system validations to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical installations.
Key Tasks and Duties
- Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, and market demand.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Direct and supervise the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
- Provide technical advice and resolve problems to ensure that standards for quality, reliability, and safety are met.
Education and Certification Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/equivalent or related field.
- Several years of experience in engineering or project management.
- Good communication skills and digital literacy
- Good knowledge of contract law and trade documents, project management.
- Good knowledge of electrical distribution systems and standards.
- Strong understanding of software (like CAD) and other electrical design tools.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, and standards related to electrical engineering.
