Job Summary
The Site Manager / Site Coordinator oversees daily site operations to ensure architectural and interior works meet drawings, specifications, timelines, quality standards, and comply with Singapore regulations and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and schedules before project commencement to ensure accuracy and feasibility
- Coordinate effectively with designers, architects, consultants (M&E, Fire, LEW, FSM), main contractors, and client representatives to align project goals and resolve issues
- Prepare detailed work schedules on a weekly and monthly basis to optimize manpower and material delivery planning
- Identify and resolve potential clashes among architectural, M&E, and structural elements early to prevent delays and rework
- Supervise all on-site works to ensure execution strictly follows approved drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, document findings, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Apply strong knowledge of interior fit-out works and architectural detailing to guide site activities and decision-making
- Read and interpret construction drawings accurately to support coordination and supervision tasks
- Communicate clearly and proactively with subcontractors and consultants to facilitate smooth site operations and timely issue resolution
- Apply familiarity with Singapore codes and site practices to maintain regulatory compliance and uphold safety requirements
