Project Manager (IBMS, Control & Interface Engineering)

As part of our project management team representing our client i.e., Changi Airport Group (CAG), you will be involved in the management and development of the future Terminal 5 building and its associated facilities. Job Description

The main responsibilities of this role include managing the project, with focus on Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) and system interfaces as well as Energy Management System (EMS) and other IT related systems. As a project manager, you will also be assigned to other roles related to project management such as safety, risk and schedule management, etc. You will need to be involved in all stages of project inception, planning, execution and completion.

In this role, you will lead and work closely with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met, system interfaces are well coordinated, and that deliverables are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality. Strong ability in identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation measures is essential.

Requirements

• Good degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 8 years of relevant working experience in developing, delivering, and monitoring of projects and control systems.

• Experience in systems integration for site-wide complex systems such as Integrated Building Management System, SCADA systems, IT infrastructure including network, servers and database is essential.

• Relevant working experience in airports and mixed-use development will be preferred.

• Good knowledge of software, database and network systems, standard interface communication protocol, OT cybersecurity and/or interfacing, and integration with electrical/mechanical systems will be advantageous.

• Experience in managing system interfaces including coordination across multiple contractors, consultant and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and interoperability in complex project environments will be considered favourably.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and issues effectively.

• Self‑motivated, analytical, assertive, and results‑driven.

• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results through effective project management.

• Good team player who thrives in fast‑paced and dynamic project environments.

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
