Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of HVAC ducting works from planning to completion
Develop and plan work activities based on the approved project schedule
Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently to meet project milestones
Coordinate closely with main contractor, consultants, and client representatives
CSCPM & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with CSCPM (Construction Safety Compliance & Project Management) requirements
Implement and enforce site safety standards in accordance with WSH regulations
Maintain proper documentation for safety, permits, and site activities
QA/QC Management
Ensure all ducting works comply with project specifications, cleanroom standards, and pharmaceutical requirements
Oversee QA/QC processes including inspections, testing, and documentation
Coordinate with QA/QC team to close NCRs, punch lists, and ensure high-quality deliverables
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. SMACNA, SS553, project specifications)
Commercial & Claims Management
Prepare and submit progress claims based on work completed in accordance with contract terms
Track project progress against contract milestones and ensure accurate valuation of work done
Manage variations (VO), cost control, and project budget
Liaise with client and consultants on claim certification and approvals
Coordination & Communication
Lead site meetings, progress meetings, and coordination discussions
Resolve site issues, design clashes, and coordination challenges effectively
Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, method statements, and technical documentation
Testing & Commissioning
Oversee testing, commissioning, and system handover processes
Ensure all documentation (as-built drawings, O&M manuals) are completed and submitted
Job Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in HVAC / ducting projects
Proven experience managing pharmaceutical or cleanroom projects
Strong knowledge of QA/QC requirements and industry standards (SMACNA, SS553, GMP environment)
Experience in CSCPM compliance and site safety management
Solid understanding of contract administration, progress claims, and variation orders
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight timelines
