Project Manager - For Construction Industry (Civil Engineering)

. 5.5 days work week

. Salary: 7K-9K

. Site: Pasir Ris (Industrial)

We are hiring a Project Manager for a prestigious real-estate player in the region

Scope of Position: Overall responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Project planning and project management Lead and oversee project execution, monitor site progress and ensure on-time completion of projects.

. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and latest WSH Act provisions at all times.

. Ensure cost control and project completion within budget, utilization of resources and schedule.

. To lead and mentor the team by setting in place guidelines and procedures, providing advice and supervision.

. Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.

. Ensure that organization and government standards on safety are met and ensure customer safety & quality specifications are consistently met.

. Co-ordinate with the clients, sub-contractors and consultants on all project matters.

. Familiar with Authority submissions and regulatory requirements.

. Ensure site team of engineers, supervisors, foremen and workers comply with client & regulatory requirements

. To assist management in monitoring the effectiveness of the risk control measures

. To recommend appropriate risk control measures to reduce or eliminate the risk identified assessment

. Together with QS department to award sub-contractors

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (recognized by PEB).

. At least 10 year(s) of civil experience in various industrial and factory projects.

. Accredited with Accreditation of Project Managers (APM) or Construction Professional Accreditation Scheme (CPAS) is preferred

. To be appointed as RP (Recognize Professional), TC (Technical Controller) personnel for BCA registration.

. Proficient in MS Office and strong knowledge in project management

. Independent, organised with positive work attitude, strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills Self-motivated and dynamic with a proven ability to work in a demanding environment
