Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business stakeholders, providing technology and operational solutions to support HR transformation and business initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of HR technology and transformation projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, timeline, and quality objectives.
- Manage projects involving Workday / HRIS platforms, including system implementation, enhancement, integration, migration, process improvement, and/or optimisation.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment across HR, Technology, Operations, vendors, and other business stakeholders.
- Manage project stakeholders, including expectations, escalations, conflicts, dependencies, and scope changes.
- Lead project governance activities, including investment approvals, steering committee meetings, working group sessions, and project status reviews.
- Oversee project scope and change requests, assessing impacts on timeline, cost, resources, HR operations, and technology delivery.
- Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues, driving timely resolution across business and technology teams.
- Develop and coordinate implementation plans across HR, Technology, Operations, and external vendors/system integrators.
- Support HR process and system transformation, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, cost-effective, and aligned with business and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, project management standards, data privacy requirements, and relevant banking policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track, monitor, and report project progress, risks, issues, and key milestones to senior HR stakeholders, business leaders, and governance committees.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in banking and/or consulting, with a strong track record in end-to-end project/programme delivery.
- Proven experience delivering HR transformation, HR technology, HRIS, or Workday-related projects within a banking or financial-services environment.
- Strong understanding of Workday and/or enterprise HR systems, with experience in areas such as HR processes, system implementation, enhancement, integration, migration, testing, or data.
- Strong business domain knowledge across Human Resources (HR), with additional exposure to Risk Management, CRS, FATCA, PDPA, or other banking/regulatory areas.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives within the banking industry.
- Strong understanding of banking technology, HR processes, and operational processes across multiple business functions.
- Solid knowledge of project management, change management, IT governance, and transformation delivery practices.
- Experience in project scoping, solution evaluation, and assessing scalability, maintainability, cost, operational impact, implementation feasibility, and technology risks.
- Experience working with HR business stakeholders, Technology teams, vendors, and system integrators.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage both senior HR/business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive successful project outcomes with minimal supervision.
