Job Summary:

Lead regional agri-commodity trading and business growth initiatives while managing commercial operations, logistics, and strategic development across Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the sales and trading of agri-commodities, including soybeans, corn, soybean meal, and related products.
• Oversee credit control activities and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Support bulk freight operations and coordinate logistics activities to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
• Ensure effective planning, coordination, and monitoring of logistics and supply chain operations.
• Lead and manage departmental activities, including budget planning, business strategy development, and team leadership.
• Identify, develop, and implement new business initiatives and projects to increase sales volume within the agri-commodity sector across North Asia and Southeast Asia.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders and internal teams to support business development and project execution.
• Analyse market developments and commercial opportunities to support business growth objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience within the trading industry, preferably in the food and agribusiness sector.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience in agri-commodity trading, including products such as soybeans, corn, soybean meal, or related commodities.
• Knowledge of freight operations, logistics coordination, and supply chain processes.
• Proven experience in business development, project management, and driving sales growth initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different countries, business environments, and cultures.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Bloomberg, Reuters EIKON, or similar market information and trading systems is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
