Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute interior furnishing and fit-out projects from award to handover.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Oversee on-site works by subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to schedule.
  • Prepare detailed project timelines, resource plans, and maintain proper documentation throughout the project.
  • Monitor site activities, conduct regular inspections, and provide daily or weekly progress updates.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Review and interpret drawings, floor plans, and technical specifications.
  • Manage procurement, logistics, and delivery of materials.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers, monitor project costs, and report any scope or budget changes to management.
  • Identify and resolve project issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
  • Be available for on-site supervision and occasional after-hours work where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or other related technical disciplines.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant project management experience in interior furnishing, fit-out, or related industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of carpentry, joinery, or interior works.
  • Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Hands-on experience liaising with clients and subcontractors.
  • Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and progress tracking.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts).
  • Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
