Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for Firco Continuity implementation or enhancement projects within the bank.
  • Manage project planning, scope, timeline, budget, and delivery to ensure successful implementation of sanctions screening solutions.
  • Work closely with compliance, payments, and technology teams to ensure transaction screening requirements and regulatory obligations are met.
  • Coordinate system integration with payment messaging platforms such as SWIFT, FEDWIRE, and SEPA.
  • Oversee project activities including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring alignment with internal governance processes.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support system enhancements and process improvements related to real-time transaction screening and sanctions compliance.
  • Prepare project status reports and updates for senior management and project governance forums.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in banking or financial services, preferably within payments or compliance technology.
  • Hands-on experience delivering projects related to sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, or payment systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Firco Continuity or similar transaction screening platforms is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of payment messaging formats and channels such as SWIFT, FEDWIRE, and SEPA.
  • Experience managing end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, testing, and go-live.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Familiarity with sanctions compliance, AML, and regulatory requirements in financial institutions.
  • Strong project governance, risk management, and reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
