Gather and analyze business requirements related to sanctions screening and transaction monitoring using Firco Continuity (by LexisNexis Risk Solutions).
Work closely with compliance, operations, and technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications and system solutions.
Support end-to-end project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, SIT/UAT, and implementation.
Define and document screening rules, workflows, and alert handling processes within Firco Continuity.
Collaborate with payment teams to ensure proper screening of messages across SWIFT, FEDWIRE, and SEPA channels.
Conduct gap analysis between current and target state processes for transaction screening and sanctions compliance.
Prepare detailed functional specifications, process flows, and user stories for development and configuration teams.
Support testing activities (SIT/UAT), including test case preparation, execution, and defect tracking.
Work with stakeholders to ensure data mapping, message formats, and integration points are accurately defined.
Assist in production deployment and post-go-live support, including issue analysis and resolution.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
Strong exposure to sanctions screening, AML, or compliance systems, preferably with Firco Continuity.
Good understanding of payment messaging formats and channels (SWIFT, FEDWIRE, SEPA).
Experience in requirements gathering, functional documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Hands-on experience supporting SIT/UAT and end-to-end project delivery.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to sanctions and financial crime compliance.
Ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams in a cross-functional environment.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments is an advantage.
