Job Description

Role Summary

Our client is an established player within the financial services/brokerage industry, currently undergoing a significant digital transformation to enhance its trading capabilities and client experience across Asia.

They are seeking a Project Manager to support the development and rollout of a digital trading platform, with exposure to both Singapore and regional markets. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment across business, technology, and regulatory functions in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from planning, design, development through to implementation and rollout
  • Ensure delivery within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Technology, Legal & Compliance, Operations, and Business teams
  • Drive alignment and ensure seamless communication across stakeholders

Project Planning & Governance

  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and deliverables
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies

Regulatory & Market Alignment

  • Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Support localisation and rollout across regional markets in Asia

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

  • Provide regular updates to senior management
  • Proactively escalate and resolve project issues

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of project management experience
  • Experience within fintech, brokerage, securities, or capital markets industry is required
  • Proven experience delivering digital or technology-related projects

Domain Knowledge

  • Understanding of trading platforms, brokerage operations, or financial systems
  • Familiarity with processes such as client onboarding/KYC, trading lifecycle, settlement, or payment flows

Project Management Skills

  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Trello, or equivalent

Stakeholder Management

  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

Core Competencies

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong execution discipline
