Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Financial Markets projects across trading, sales, risk, operations, or regulatory workstreams
- Understand front-office workflows across asset classes (FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, Commodities).
- Provide oversight on market processes including trade capture, trade lifecycle management, settlement, risk reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Translate business objectives into project deliverables, ensuring alignment with financial markets operations and systems.
- Support solution evaluation across trading platforms, risk systems, case management workflows, and data integration layers.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery
- Manage project governance, documentation, and reporting to ensure transparency and alignment with business objectives
- Utilize Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to drive project efficiency and adaptability
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and implement lessons learned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management within financial markets, banking, or consulting.
- Proven experience leading projects related to:
- Trading platforms (e.g., Murex, Calypso, Summit)
- Risk or regulatory initiatives
- Front-to-back process enhancements
- Market data, pricing, or reporting solutions
- Strong knowledge of financial products and trade lifecycle processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholders.
- Background in change management and operating model design.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is preferred
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Trello, Confluence, and experience in Agile/Waterfall methodologies
