We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of experiential design-and-build projects integrated with digital interactive technologies.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments and is passionate about bringing immersive experiences to life - from concept development through fabrication, software integration, deployment, launch, maintenance, and teardown.
As a Project Manager at Trinax, you will oversee the end-to-end execution of projects across exhibitions, galleries, visitor centres, branded experiences, and interactive installations. You will work closely with clients, designers, developers, fabricators, operations teams, and creative technologists to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate possesses strong project leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and experience managing projects that combine physical environments with digital systems and interactive technologies.
1. Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead projects from initiation to completion across design, development, fabrication, deployment, maintenance, and closure phases.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in alignment with client and internal stakeholder expectations.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, work plans, and project documentation.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical paths to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure alignment between creative intent, technical feasibility, operational practicality, and budget considerations.
- Manage procurement coordination, production timelines, and vendor deliverables where required.
- Oversee onsite installations, testing, commissioning, launch activities, and teardown processes.
2. Cross-Functional Team Coordination
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams including Creative Designers, UI/UX Designers,
- Software Developers, Creative Technologists, Fabricators, AV/System Integrators, and Operations & Maintenance Teams.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive project meetings, progress reviews, technical discussions, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Ensure all teams are working towards aligned project objectives, milestones, and quality standards.
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Present project updates, timelines, risks, and solutions clearly and professionally.
- Manage client expectations while balancing project scope, timeline, and budget realities.
- Lead presentations, walkthroughs, testing reviews, and project handovers.
4. Experiential & Interactive Systems Management
- Manage projects involving touchscreen interactives, projection mapping, motion and sensor-based experiences, gamification systems, RFID/NFC integrations, AI-driven experiences, AV systems, and web/mobile interactive platforms.
- Coordinate software, hardware, and spatial integration requirements across teams.
- Ensure interactive experiences are intuitive, stable, engaging, and aligned with user journey objectives.
- Work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure maintainability and operational reliability.
5. Quality Assurance & Risk Management
- Maintain high standards of project quality, execution, and client satisfaction.
- Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure proper testing, QA processes, troubleshooting, and issue resolution are conducted before launch.
- Conduct project post-mortems and internal review sessions to identify learnings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and venue requirements where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Design, Architecture, Interactive Media, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing experiential, exhibition, digital, spatial, or technology-driven projects.
- Proven experience managing projects involving both physical build environments and digital interactive systems.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid workflows.
- Familiarity with experiential design, exhibition workflows, fabrication processes, or immersive technology environments is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Jira, Trello, Asana, Slack, Microsoft Project, or Monday.com.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
