Project Manager (Junior Arborist)
Responsibilities
- Attend meeting with authorities as an Arborist to explain on the plants status and solutions
- Attend Auditing session with Auditors regarding safety and plants. and monitor on Certificates renewal (For eg. BizSafe and etcetras)
- Lead planning and advise landscaping workers on sequencing and arrangement of work to optimize project flow and efficiency
- Establish and implement risk management, time management, and cost planning systems to ensure landscaping activities meet project objectives
- Conduct field surveys and investigations to gather data for preparing accurate technical and shop drawings
- Collaborate with Technical Coordinator to review and finalize technical/shop drawings for project execution
- Identify and report discrepancies and variations on site to maintain quality and compliance with design specifications
- Coordinate with Quantity Surveyor to manage timely material orders aligned with project requirements
- Represent the landscaping team in meetings with main contractors to clarify and align on project requirements
- Analyze design issues and recommend design changes for approval to enhance project outcomes
- Execute approved design changes accurately and efficiently on site
- Track and update submissions and approvals of samples, materials, and shop drawings to ensure project documentation is current
- Monitor work execution to ensure compliance with approved samples, materials, and shop drawings
- Prepare detailed monthly progress reports and facilitate coordination between subcontractors and consultants during project meetings
- Implement and enforce safety measures and housekeeping standards on site, initiating preventive and corrective actions as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success and team objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid Class 3 - 4 Singapore driving license
- Arborist AND /OR Certified Practising Horticulturist Certificate is required working in the Landscaping company.
- Minimum Master's or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent in Horticulture, Landscaping, Architecture, or relevant fields
- At least 3-5 years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, or construction project management
- Demonstrated leadership skills to monitor and guide Coordinators and Foremen in work execution
- In-depth knowledge of operations, coordination, and technical details related to architectural, structural, and landscaping field works
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software is an advantage for technical drawing and design coordination
Working Hours, Salary Offer and Office Location:
Salary Offer $4,800 - $5,000
Office location: Bukit Batok Crescent
