Project Manager

Job Description:

. Manage product margins to ensure they remain within budget.

. Handle the RFQ process and respond with pricing strategies and lead-time information in a timely manner.

. Prepare quotes for products and services in collaboration with Business Development, R&D, and Operations teams, aiming to achieve market-appropriate prices in a competitive environment.

. Ensure cash call targets are achieved, especially for FAT/NPI projects, and recommend corrective actions when forecasts deviate from AOP numbers.

. Implement and monitor cost-saving programs, follow up on cost-down roadmaps, and communicate results in an appropriate framework (e.g., open costing) to customers in collaboration with Business Development teams.

. Communicate effectively with Business Development and Product Management teams globally to ensure customer support and monitor business prospects professionally.

. Conduct customer visits in conjunction with local Business Development and/or Product Managers.

. Provide direction and support to project and product management teams, including:
a. Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
b. Leading crisis management efforts to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
c. Motivating teams to meet requirements, even under sudden changes.
d. Monitoring project development to ensure it stays on track and making necessary adjustments for success.

. Monitor, prepare, and provide timely project summaries as required by management or customers.

. Conduct project closure meetings to review results and lessons learned.

. Facilitate product and technology transfer from customers or other sites to Operations.

. Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.

Job Requirements:

. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.

. More than 3 years of relevant experience in Product/Project Management, demonstrating practical ability to operate in a complex environment and lead in a change-driven business.

. Knowledge of Product and Project Management, and expertise in Optics and/or Opto-mechanics modules.

. Skills to operate effectively in a constantly evolving environment with high performance targets.

. Strong bias for action and results able to drive self and others to deliver on commitments within cross-functional teams.

. Strong internal and external customer orientation, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and other business units in an international, multicultural environment.
