We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our Hostile Vehicle Mitigation projects. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role requires strategic leadership, advanced technical expertise, and
the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HVM projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Oversee preparation and review of shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Direct and mentor project engineers and site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Chair design and coordination meetings, driving resolution of technical and operational issues.
- Ensure all site works comply with WSH regulations and relevant safety standards.
- Manage risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee submission and approval processes for ST/BCA and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records for audit and future reference.
- Lead post-project reviews and implement lessons learned for process optimization.
- Undertake any other senior management duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a focus on HVM or similar sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, and project management tools.
- Valid BCSS safety certificate additional safety and management certifications are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, environmental and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Superior oral and written communication skills, including negotiation and presentation.
- Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion under tight deadlines.
- Experience with risk management and quality assurance processes.
