Project Manager-Engineering- CAPEX-Pharma

We are currently looking for a Project Engineering Manager to join us on a permanent role to help us deliver various projects in the Life Sciences Industry.

Key Attributes/Responsibilities

• Develop Project Charters, Business Cases, CAPEX requests and project initiation documentation, defining scope, objectives and execution strategy.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, WBS/CBS, cost estimates, forecasts and project control plans.
• Manage project risks across safety, quality, technical, functional and execution areas, including change control and reporting processes.
• Lead sourcing and procurement activities including technical specifications, BOQs, tendering, vendor selection and contract award.
• Manage and coordinate engineering consultants, contractors, vendors and third parties, ensuring compliance with project and HSE requirements.
• Lead project reviews including Technical Quality Reviews, constructability reviews, Stage Gates and statutory approvals where required.
• Monitor and control project performance against cost, schedule, scope, quality and risk, managing changes, claims, deficiencies and deviations.
• Oversee construction, equipment installation, FAT, SAT, inspections, commissioning, technical acceptance and project handover.
• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, with strong experience delivering CAPEX projects from Concept/Design through Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Handover.
• Strong capability in project controls, contractor/vendor management, HSE, GMP engineering environments and cross-functional stakeholder management.
