The Project Manager - Electrical Systems will lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept through design, coordination, and delivery. The role requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems design for ESMC , coupled with excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering projects for ESMC facilities, including medium and low-voltage power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, grounding, and building automation.
- Prepare project scopes, schedules, budgets, and ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, process, fire protection, and instrumentation engineers.
- Ensure designs comply with local regulations, international standards, and client specifications.
- Review and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and technical submittals.
- Manage communication with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers in project execution.
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover of electrical systems where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in electrical design for ESMC.
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices (e.g., NEC, IEC, local regulations).
- Experience with electrical design software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
